Our open-air restaurant sits at the heart of the complex, overlooking the pool and tropical gardens. Whether you are starting the day with a full English breakfast, grabbing a light lunch between trips to the beach, or settling in for an evening of candlelit dining, this is where guests gather, share stories, and eat well.
The kitchen draws on three traditions: hearty British classics, authentic Italian pasta and pizza, and fragrant Thai dishes that have become a firm favourite with returning guests. Everything is freshly prepared by our team of local and international cooks.

The Atmosphere
There is something about eating outdoors in The Gambia that no indoor restaurant can match. At Luigi's, the tables sit beneath a thatched roof open to the evening breeze. Fairy lights catch the surface of the pool. The garden frogs begin their chorus around seven o'clock. By eight, the kitchen is sending out plates of red snapper and carbonara while the cocktails come cold and strong.
During the day, the restaurant doubles as a social hub. Guests drift in from the pool for a cold beer and a sandwich. Families compare notes on where they went that morning. By lunchtime, the smell of fresh garlic bread drifts across the complex.
It is casual, it is friendly, and the food is honestly very good for the price. That is what most guests say, and they come back year after year to prove it.
